Return Eligibility

At Next Generation Lighting Modz, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return under the conditions outlined below.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return request must be made within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition.
  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, hardware, and documentation.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

Items that have been installed, modified, damaged through improper use, or returned without their original packaging may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive defective or were shipped in error:

  • Custom-built or special-order products.
  • Electrical components that have been installed or show signs of installation.
  • Retrofit components that have been modified, painted, glued, baked, trimmed, or altered in any way.
  • Clearance, final sale, or discontinued items.
  • Gift cards.

Defective or Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging.

Once your claim has been reviewed, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.

Warranty

Many products sold by Next Generation Lighting Modz are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty coverage, duration, and procedures vary by manufacturer. Warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, accidents, modifications, normal wear and tear, water intrusion, abuse, or unauthorized repairs is not covered.

Labour costs associated with installation, removal, diagnosis, or reinstallation are not covered unless expressly stated by the manufacturer.

Return Authorization

Before returning any product, customers must contact Next Generation Lighting Modz to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), if applicable.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is the result of our error or a confirmed warranty issue, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returned packages lost or damaged in transit.

Inspection and Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing typically takes 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

If the returned item does not meet our return requirements, the return may be refused or returned to the customer at their expense.

Restocking Fee

Certain products may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, particularly special-order items or products returned in opened packaging. Any applicable fee will be communicated before the return is finalized.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before shipment.

Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the standard return policy.

Special-order and custom products cannot be cancelled once they have been ordered from the manufacturer.

Installation Disclaimer

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Next Generation Lighting Modz is not responsible for damage to products or vehicles resulting from improper installation, incorrect wiring, incompatible applications, or modifications performed by the customer or a third party.

Customers are responsible for verifying vehicle compatibility before placing an order.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Next Generation Lighting Modz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the purchase, installation, or use of our products.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that consumers may have under applicable Canadian or provincial consumer protection laws.
