At the core of the V.4 are custom NLW1860CV2 multi-core LED chips, based on advanced CREE XD14 technology. Unlike conventional LED bulbs that stack multiple LED chips together, the V.4 utilizes a continuous light-emitting surface that closely replicates the shape and position of a traditional halogen filament. The result is an exceptionally accurate beam pattern with outstanding hotspot intensity, wider road coverage, and significantly reduced glare for oncoming traffic.

Designed for high-output performance, the V.4 features an advanced active cooling system built around a durable 6063 aircraft-grade aluminum heat sink. A waterproof high-speed dual ball-bearing micro fan efficiently dissipates heat while remaining remarkably quiet thanks to an intelligent fan controller that automatically adjusts fan speed based on operating temperature. Should airflow ever be compromised, the integrated thermal protection system automatically reduces power output to protect the LEDs while maintaining usable light output.

Despite its powerful cooling system, the V.4 maintains an impressively compact profile. With a low mounting depth and a slim 39 mm heat sink diameter, these bulbs fit comfortably inside most factory fog light housings, including applications with limited space or factory dust covers.

The V.4 also incorporates an integrated CANBUS anti-flicker and anti-error driver, eliminating the need for external decoders on the vast majority of modern vehicles. This built-in circuitry helps prevent dashboard warning lights, flickering, pulsing, and bulb-out errors, making installation truly plug-and-play for most applications. While some specialized vehicles using advanced PWM systems may still require additional modules, the V.4 is compatible with most vehicles right out of the box.
